It’s not a difficult question as to who handles cleaning your apartment. Of course, there has to be no one but YOU.There’s no need to ask.
Although cleaning up is an annoying, boring and horrible task especially when your home is so messy, dirty and full of the bunch, it should not be the reason you quit tidying up. Remember, our homes are supposed to be the most comfortable place to live in. But how to make it comfortable when you’re lazy to clean? I tell you, it will just worsen the situation. If you don’t clean, it will just become dirtier. And to add, it will just stress you out seeing all the filth.
It should also be remembered that cleaning up amounts to making a bunch of decisions. Why? Because when you clean and go through your bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen, and garage, putting each item away and complaining bitterly about how much you hate housecleaning needs a one of a kind house planning and quick response. This will reflect on: putting each item to where it belongs and trashing things you do not need anymore.
Real cleaning is not easy cleaning. It should be given time and effort. When you are lazy to clean but have no money to pay for a home cleaning service, prevention is the best resolution. Control was messing up and always bring things back to their places. The daily routine for cleaning should stick to your priorities. But if you prefer to hire for a cleaning service to do all the job and save your time from all the busy schedules, it’s not that bad as long as you have money to pay.
Since walking into a home that is clean and comfortable is a wonderful feeling, everyone should know that the duty of keeping home neat and clean is an excellent achievement. Keeping a messy and filthy home makes it inconvenient to live in. You will not only be embarrassed with your visitors and friends but with yourself too. You should know how to do it the proper way because it’s the etiquette of doing so. If you are renting an apartment, well, of course, you have to handle the apartment cleaning in nyc it, besides, you are the one who lives in it. It is very unethical if the one moving in next to you will exert all the effort cleaning all your junks. Same with your landlord or landlady, it is not him/her job to do the cleaning. It’s not nice. After all, it is you who have caused everything about the mess. You should understand this. It’s not an excuse that you’re feeling lazy, or you hate cleaning. All can clean. And it’s not an option. It’s a duty. Besides, it all upon you on how to make fun in cleaning.
How about turning the music on while scrubbing the bathroom? Or while fixing the bed? Or while doing the laundry? How about dancing while vacuuming the floor? And rapping your favorite rap lines while washing the dishes? You know there can be a lot of ways on how to make cleaning enjoyable. It will not only make you happy but also make your work fast and easy. Not only you’ll be saving money from hiring home cleaners, but also saving the embarrassment and discrimination from your friends and visitors who will come to see your home. You’ll be free from any pest and disease caused by roaches, and you’ll be relieved from any stress you might see inside your home.
Ok so yeah I know that’s a twitter account not tweeter like my title says (or at least now I do thanks to my husband hehe) Ok my point of this post is to share how dumb I am about twitter. I just don’t get it. Ever since I started this blog I’ve been reading up on how I can make it better. And I keep reading “make a facebook and twitter for your blog.” I see how this can help your blog a lot. You can connect with other bloggers which is always good. And I can follow my favorite bloggers and keep up with them.
Facebook is no issue for me. I will say the new timeline took some getting used to. But now I’ve got that down too. Well kind of. And as of Pinterest, well needless to say I learned how to do that really fast 😉 Uh yeah I spend A LOT of time using that one.
But Twitter. It feels like a whole new world for me. I don’t quite get the hashtags and twitter parties and all that. And I see so many people use it. I should know how to tweet, right?
Me and my hubby were talking, we got married in 2004 and back then we had never heard of Facebook, pinterest or Twitter. And now those are like household names. It’s crazy how fast the world can change, isn’t it? It kind of makes me think about when I’ll be a grandparent, telling kids “in my day we didn’t have no youtubes!”. And yes I said Youtubes because that’s what my husband’s aunt called it one time and it cracked us up. She said “don’t be putting this on youtubes now!”.
Back to my original point, sorry I tend to ramble, I need to learn how to tweet. So I’ve made my Twitter account and you can follow me at @AllieTheMomma. So if you would like to follow me that would be awesome or if you wanna share with me your username on there I can follow you. Hopefully one of these days I will be a Twittering Pro (sorry that just sounds funny to me!)
Maybe this will help me! Haha
Whew! Talk about some madness around here lately. Here’s just a few tidbits from our weekend.
The weekend started out pretty laid back. Saturday morning I hit a couple yard sales. And it just wasn’t a good yard sale day for me. You know how some days you come home with a car full of loot and then others you find nothing good. Mine was the latter. And there was an awkward moment when people tried to push their stuff on me at one sale. At least for me it feels awkward. The lady told me “this shirt would look so good on you, it looks a lot better on then on the hanger, and it’s only five dollars.” That’s just a pet peeve of mine. Pushy people at yard sales. And I didn’t buy the shirt. Awwwwkwaard!!
After my yard saling, we took the kids to play at a playground. It’s seriously so much fun watching them play. They played with another couple of kids there and it was cool seeing them interact with other little kids. They had races around the playground area. It was so cute. It was such a beautiful day with blue skies and birds chirping. Oh yeah I love spring time!
Then later that day my son got sick with the stomach bug. Any parents of a sick young child know, it is not fun at all. I felt so bad for my son. He’s only three and he just kept telling me his tummy hurt. And then he got really sick. And of course I freaked out and was ready to take him to the doctor. Thankfully I have my husband to calm me down and tell me he’s ok. Kids get sick sometimes. And he was right.
I am so glad he is better today. Sunday was rough tho. He was even running a small fever with it. We spent the day in our pjs, watching cartoons and being completely lazy since he was feeling so bad. But, now he’s all good and being his playful happy self again.
This isn’t really big news or anything but we bought the set of The Hunger Games books. My hubby started reading the first one Saturday and he’s already on the second book. I’ve just started the first one and it’s really good so far. I keep telling him “stop, don’t read without me, I want to talk about it with you.” But, he said its too good to put down. *sigh* I guess I will have to read alone. I’m so mistreated haha.
And for our big news! Today one of our family members had a baby!! We are seriously so excited about that. And as soon as I can I want to go see them and the baby at the hospital. I wanted to go up there already but with my son being sick I’m going to wait until someone can watch them. It’s always so cool getting a new baby in the family tho!
So my weekend and today have just been a little chaotic. With the yucky stomach bug in the house and our brand new family member arriving I have done no house fixing up stuff. But, now things seem to be calming down again around here and I can get back to the “make our house a home” project. I still haven’t gave any updates on all the work I’m doing outside the house. The exterior house stuff I mentioned here. I can’t decide if I should give little updates about what I’ve done so far or wait and do a reveal at the end. Hmmm I’m thinking I’m going to do a reveal at the end.
I hope everyone had a good weekend!
Only in bloggy world. I’m not personally getting one but my blog is. So what do you think of my new header? I love the colors and patterns so much. It is more me. More my style. My only issue is the size but I’ll get to that in a minute.
When I started this blog almost a month ago, I was sooooo pumped up to start it that I just used a free header from a wonderful website that offers those. If you would like to check out their site it’s Shabby Blogs. They have soooo many cute things it’s crazy. And it’s free. Awesomeness all together.
But…even tho their stuff is super cute, it wasn’t exactly what I had imagined for this blog when I started it. So last night I FINALLY got around to working on changing my header. Last week sometime I bought some digital paper from Etsy to use. Until then I seriously didn’t even know they sold that there. You can buy a pack of 12 different patterns for about $3. As much as I would love paying someone to design it all up for me, I can’t exactly afford that right now. I’m really trying to put any extra money into fixing up the house.
So I had to just make my own. I stayed up until 3:30 am last night making it. I got a really late start, like around midnight, because my baby didn’t want to go to sleep last night. Then it took me awhile to pick my pattern combo, font and all that went in it. Then I had trouble finding an free editor online that I wanted to use. It was a lot of trial and error. I kept making it too huge. And I finally figured out how to make it fit better. Then I woke up this morning to realize it’s still way too big! I guess I was so tired last night I didn’t notice it’s still too big. I now have so much more respect for blog designers. It is so much harder to make a header than I realized. They really must know their stuff!
But, anyways the header is good for right now so I’m not going to touch it until I have time. It may be this evening, this week or even next month (I hope sooner than that tho!). Who really knows when it will be since I’m also taking care of two 3 year olds and a 3 month old (that makes me feel tired even saying it).
So I would love to hear what y’all think of it. Do you think it looks ok (other than the size)? I feel like it is so me. I love those colors and patterns so much. I’m hoping it really looks alright and it’s not just my lack of sleep fooling me. Haha!
